The habit of revisiting the same stories in our mind, whether they are real or imagined scenarios, leaves a big impact on the brain. Unlike a record that stays the same each time the needle passes, our brains change every time we rehearse the same story. Here are a few tips on how to change our memories so that they are not continuing to inflict damage every time we remember them.
